Drop into the Elephant Island tasting room as we celebrate the launch of Shattered, the fifth instalment in Lynda L. Lock’s Death in the Vineyards series. Meet Lynda, discover the Okanagan places and personalities that inspire her stories, pick up your next fireside read—and stock up on a few equally compelling bottles for the cozy season ahead.
Lynda is a Canadian independent mystery author who has called the Okanagan Valley home for more than 20 years. Her colourful career—spanning ambulance attendant, firefighter, antique-store owner, craft-brewery partner, winery administrator, B&B owner and hotel manager—provides rich inspiration for her mysteries.
After creating the popular Isla Mujeres Mysteries, Lynda turned her attention closer to home. Her Death in the Vineyards series draws on her first-hand knowledge of Okanagan wine country, hospitality, and the people and places that give the Valley its character.
Come for the book launch. Leave ready to hibernate.

Join us for one of our most beloved summer traditions.
The evening begins with a community potluck barbecue, with burgers provided by Elephant Island, before friends and families gather to create handmade lanterns. As the sun sets, we’ll light our creations and stroll together beneath the evening sky.
Whether you’re making memories with your children, spending time with loved ones, or quietly honouring someone special, Lantern Night is a welcoming celebration for everyone.
Suitable for all ages. No artistic experience is required. All lantern-making materials are provided.
This event is by donation and supports local families through Beginnings at OneSky, continuing Rex’s legacy of bringing light to others.

Join us on Aikins Loop this Easter weekend for an afternoon that leans into that feeling – equal parts relaxed and quietly festive.
We’ll be pouring our new spring releases in the courtyard, wines that feel right for the season: bright, lifted, full of energy. If the timing lines up (and nature cooperates), you may find yourself sitting in a soft sea of blossoms – one of those fleeting, blink-and-you-miss-it kind of moments.
For the younger guests, a courtyard scavenger hunt will keep things playful – a small adventure tucked into the afternoon.
